Data Entry Operator (DEO) Skill Test Details

For the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO), a Skill Test will be conducted. The prescribed norms are:

  • Typing Speed: 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English OR 30 words per minute (w.p.m.) in Hindi.
  • Test Duration: 10 minutes.
  • Key Depressions: 35 w.p.m. / 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10,500 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) / 9,000 KDPH, calculated on an average of five key depressions per word.

Only candidates who qualify in the Skill Test for DEO will be called for the interview. The schedule for the Skill Test will be notified separately on the Institute’s website.
