Selection Process

The selection process for SSB Constable (GD) under Sports Quota will comprise two main stages:

  1. Stage-I: For International/National Medal Winners (up to 3rd place)
    • Documentation: Verification of all original documents (age, education, caste, sports achievements, etc.). Failure to produce documents will lead to rejection.
    • Checking of Sports Achievements: Field trial/skill test will be exempted for candidates who have participated in International Sports events (as part of Indian Squad) or represented State/UT in Senior or Junior level National Championships (medal winners up to 3rd place).     • International Competition: Gold – 30 Marks, Silver – 29 Marks, Bronze – 28 Marks, Participation – 26 Marks.
    • National Championship: Gold – 25 Marks, Silver – 24 Marks, Bronze – 23 Marks.
  2. Stage-II: For Other Eligible Candidates (if vacancies remain unfilled after Stage-I)
    • Documentation: Same as Stage-I.
    • Field Trial/Skill Test: Will be of 50 marks. Minimum qualifying marks for all categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS & Gen) will be 60%.
