Documents Required for Interview
Candidates MUST bring all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies as claimed in their Online Application Form (ORA form). Failure to produce any required original document may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Interview Call Letter: The original interview call letter received from UPSC.

- OBC Declaration (if applicable): A declaration in the “prescribed proforma” stating non-creamy layer status on the crucial date (last date for ORA).
- Physically Handicapped (PH) Certificate (if applicable): In “prescribed proforma” issued by the competent authority.
- Documents for Name Change (if applicable): Marriage certificate, divorce deed, affidavit, newspaper cuttings, Gazette Notification, etc., for candidates who changed name after matriculation.
- Age Relaxation Certificate (if applicable): For Ex-Servicemen and Central/UT Government Employees/Servants in “prescribed proforma”.

- Submission: Candidates must submit hard copies/printouts of tickets (to and fro journey) along with the prescribed T.A. claim form, duly filled in duplicate. TA Claim forms are available in the Forms and Download Section of the UPSC website.
- Payment: The contribution will be paid in cash on the date of the interview itself from the cashier in the Commission’s Office.
- Conditional Interview: If a candidate is interviewed conditionally or not allowed for interview, the Commission’s contribution towards travelling expenses will not be paid until such conditionality is cleared. Candidates are advised to have adequate funds for their return journey.
