Job Description

The Manager (Finance and Accounts) at IIM Shillong will be responsible for a wide range of financial and accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements as per applicable Accounting Standards.
  • Preparing Annual Budget Estimates, Revised Budget Estimates, and monitoring budgets daily.
  • Maintaining day-to-day accounting and other related work for the finance and accounts department.
  • Regularly settling individual claims as per Institute’s rules and instructions.
  • Processing payments to contractors/vendors, adhering to contractual terms and GFR/other rules.
  • Assisting in statutory, internal, and CAG Audit, and responding to queries.
  • Record Management.
  • Reviewing and assisting in strengthening internal controls, systems, and processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with Tax laws (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Preparation of MIS and presentation to management.
  • Performing any other work/task assigned by the Director or designated functionary.

Selection Process
