Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must carry all relevant original documents for verification.
  • A recent passport-size clear photograph is mandatory.

Documents Required for Verification

  • Original Call Letter/Interview Letter: If issued separately.
  • Educational Qualification Certificates: Original mark sheets and certificates for 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation (e.g., B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc), as applicable for the respective Apprentice post.
  • Experience Certificates: If any relevant work experience was mentioned in the application, bring original certificates/letters from previous employers.
  • Age Proof: 10th standard mark sheet/certificate or Birth Certificate.
  • Caste/Category Certificate: (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD) in the prescribed format by the Government of India, if applicable. Ensure it is valid and issued by a competent authority.
  • Identity Proof: A valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport.
  • Address Proof: Utility bills, Aadhaar Card, etc.
  • Passport-size Photographs: At least 2-4 recent passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in the application form, if possible).
  • Any Other Relevant Documents: As specified in the original advertisement.

It is highly recommended to carry one set of self-attested photocopies of all original documents in addition to the originals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: Is this a final selection list or just for the interview?

This notification pertains to the interview schedule for candidates who have been shortlisted based on their academic and other qualifications. The final selection will be made after the interview process.

Q2: What if my name is on the list but I don’t receive a separate call letter?

This notification itself serves as the official intimation for the interview. While a separate call letter might be issued, candidates whose names are on this list should consider this as their interview invitation and proceed as per the schedule.

Q3: Can I request a change in my interview date or time?

Generally, requests for changes in interview dates or times are not entertained. It is crucial to adhere to the schedule provided. Only in exceptional circumstances, with valid proof, might the organization consider such requests, but it is not guaranteed.

Q4: What should I do if there is a discrepancy in my name or details on the list?

If you find any discrepancy in your details, it is advisable to contact the Human Resource Development (HRD) Division of CSIR-NEIST immediately through their official contact channels (if available on the main website) before the interview date.

Q5: What kind of questions can I expect in the interview?

You can expect questions related to your educational background, technical knowledge specific to your discipline, basic aptitude, your motivation for joining an apprenticeship, and situational questions to assess your problem-solving skills and attitude.

Q6: Will travel allowance (TA) be provided for attending the interview?
