  • Laboratory Technician Gr.III: 10th/Higher Secondary/10+2 in science with Diploma of minimum 2 years duration in Laboratory Technician from a Government College/recognized institution with one (01) year of relevant post-qualification experience in a Govt. Hospital, PSU, or reputed Private Hospital.

Selection Process

The selection process for NALCO Non-Executive posts involves the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): All applied candidates will appear for a CBT comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 100 marks, to be completed in 120 minutes. The questions will be 60% from the respective technical (Domain) subjects and 40% from General Awareness, in English and Hindi.
  2. Trade Test: For posts at Sl. No. 11 to 14 (Dresser-Cum-First Aider, Laboratory Technician Gr.III, Nurse Gr III, Pharmacist Gr III), selection will be based on CBT and Trade Test with a weightage of 60% and 40% respectively.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Candidates will be shortlisted based on CBT/CBT & Trade Test performance, organizational requirements, vacancies, and reservation points. They will be called for original document verification and pre-employment medical examination.
  4. Medical Fitness: Final placement is subject to the candidate being found medically fit by the Company’s Medical Officer/Board.

  • SUPT (JOT) Posts (Sl. No. 1-7, 9-10): Candidates will undergo 12 months of on-the-job training with a stipend of Rs. 12000/- per month. After successful completion of training, they will be inducted as Jr. Operative Trainee (JOT) for 18 months, receiving a stipend of Rs. 15000/- (first 12 months) and Rs. 15500/- (next 6 months). Upon successful completion of JOT, they will be placed in the TO Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 29500-3%-70000/-, along with all applicable emoluments.
  • SUPT (SOT)-Mining (Sl. No. 8): Candidates will undergo 12 months of on-the-job training with a stipend of Rs. 12000/- per month. After successful completion of training, they will be inducted as Sr. Operative Trainee (SOT) for 18 months, receiving a stipend of Rs. 16000/- (first 12 months) and Rs. 16500/- (next 6 months). Upon successful completion of SOT, they will be placed in the SO Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 36500-3%-115000/-, along with all applicable emoluments.
  • Dresser-Cum-First Aider: W2 Grade (Rs. 27300-3%-65000/-).
