Eligibility Criteria for Last Grade Servants (SC/ST)
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the KPSC Last Grade Servants post:
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 41 years
- Born Between: Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation: In the absence of qualified candidates within the prescribed age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, in no case shall the maximum age limit exceed 50 (fifty) years.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Standard VII.
- Candidates should not have acquired any Degree.
- Important Exception for Ex-Servicemen: Candidates possessing an Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or equivalent certificate from Navy/Air Force, acquired as Ex-servicemen, are eligible to apply for this notification. However, candidates possessing any other Degree (excluding Graduation certificate from military service) are ineligible. Applications submitted by degree holders (other than the specified military service certificate) will be summarily rejected.
Physical Standards (For Specific Posts)

Differently abled persons are not eligible for appointment to the posts of Watcher, Watchman, Night Watcher, Marker (Medical College, Collegiate Education & Technical Education Department), Regular Marker (Animal Husbandry Department), Chainman (Land Revenue and Town Planning Department), and Lascar Grade II/Gate Keeper Grade II in Printing Department included in the Kerala Last Grade Service.
For Women Candidates:

Method of Appointment
Appointment will be through Direct Recruitment, specifically a Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Tribes Only.
Ranked List
Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district. These lists will remain in force for a minimum period of one year or until a new list is published after one year, or for three years, whichever is earlier.
