Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age.
- Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.
- Usual age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities (OBC) and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) categories. For detailed conditions regarding age relaxation, refer to Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette notification.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess a:
- Pass in Pre-Degree/Plus Two Course or Equivalent Examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects, OR
- VHSE (MLT)
Note on Equivalent/Higher Qualification:
- Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
- Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to a specified qualification for a post, and qualifications that pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, will also be considered sufficient. Copies of Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission.
Application Process

Steps to Apply:
- One Time Registration: If you are a new applicant, register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ on the KPSC website. Existing users can log in with their User-ID and password.

Selection Process
The selection process may involve a Written/OMR/Online Test. If a test is conducted, candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile. Only candidates who submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be able to generate and download their Admission Tickets (available 15 days prior to the test date). Applications of candidates who fail to submit confirmation will be rejected absolutely. The examination calendar will publish details regarding confirmation submission and admit card availability.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Caste/Community Discrepancy: If there is a difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in the SSLC book, candidates must produce a Gazette Notification along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate during certificate verification.
- General Conditions: Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in Part II, General Conditions of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications not submitted in accordance with these terms will be rejected.
- Disciplinary Action: Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure will be initiated against candidates making bogus claims regarding qualifications, experience, etc. This may include disqualification, debarment, invalidation of answer scripts, or criminal proceedings.
