Eligibility Criteria for Beat Forest Officer

To be considered for the Beat Forest Officer position, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • For Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates: Candidates must be born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included). The age limit is 19-35 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government of India or Government of Kerala.

Physical Standards

Candidates must possess the following physical standards:

Male Candidates:

  • Height: A minimum of 168 cms. (Note: Minimum height for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm.)
  • Chest: A minimum of 81 cms around the chest and must have an expansion of 5 cms on full inhalation. (Note: Minimum chest expansion of 5 cm is applicable to SC/ST candidates as well.)

Female Candidates:

  • Height: A minimum of 157 cms. (Note: Minimum height for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 150 cm.)

Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard)

All candidates must qualify in a specified number of events from the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test. Physical measurement will be taken prior to the Physical Efficiency Test/Endurance test; those not meeting standards will not be admitted.
