Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess an M.B.B.S degree with a PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
  • Applicants must have completed their internship.

DMC Registration

  • Candidates must possess a valid DMC registration certificate for their Post Graduate degree (PG) at the time of the interview.
  • Candidates not having DMC registration at the time of interview may be allowed to appear if they produce an acknowledgment for their application for DMC registration for PG degree.
  • If selected, valid DMC registration certificate must be submitted within 30 days of joining, failing which the appointment will be cancelled.

Experience

The initial appointment is for 44 days, extendable. The maximum tenure for a Senior Resident post is 03 years, including any previous tenure in any Govt. Hospital/Institute/Organization. Candidates who have already completed 03 years of senior residency may also apply and will be considered in a 2nd list.

Emoluments & Tenure

Selected candidates will receive emoluments at Level 11, Cell 1 (Basic Rs. 67,700/-), along with usual allowances as admissible under the rules. The appointment is purely on an ad-hoc basis and candidates will not have a claim for regularization.

Selection Process

The selection of Senior Resident Doctors will be based on a Walk-in Interview. Candidates will be interviewed by a selection committee at the specified venue and time.
