  • Relevant Field: Proven track record in electronic materials (ultra-high purity metals, SiC semiconductors, refractory metals, E-waste extraction, single crystal growth, rare-earth magnets, simulation, special electronic materials).
• Programme Coordinator (PML-12):
  • B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Material Sciences/Metallurgy/Ceramics/Chemical Engg/Nano materials) with 10 years post-qualification R&D/industry experience OR
  • M.E./M.Tech (Metallurgy/Ceramics/Chemical Engg/Materials Engg/Nano materials) with 8 years post-qualification R&D/industry experience OR

  • (a)(i) MBA (Finance)/PG DM (Finance)/MMS (Finance)/M.Com/SAS (IAAD/ICAD) with 3 years’ experience OR
  • (a)(ii) Graduate in Commerce with 6 years’ experience.
  • (b) Experience in supervisory capacity in Accounts/Finance/Budgeting/Audits in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body.
  • Desirable: Exposure to Taxation, electronic accounting packages, experience in PFMS.
• Administrative Officer (PML-10):
  • (a)(i) Post Graduate Degree in any discipline/PG Diploma in Management with 3 years of relevant work experience OR
  • (a)(ii) Graduate in any discipline with 6 years’ experience.
  • (b) Experience in supervisory capacity in Administration/Establishment/Vigilance in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body.
  • Desirable: Graduate degree in Law, experience in Purchase & stores management.
• Scientific Assistant – IV (PML-6):
  • Post Graduation in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Nano materials OR

Selection Process

The selection process for Direct Recruitment will involve:

1. Shortlisting of Applications: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance, qualifications, and experience, which may be higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. C-MET reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for further stages.
2. Test/Interview:
   • For posts at Sl. No. 1 to 6 (Scientist E, Programme Coordinator, Scientist C, Scientist B, Finance Officer, Administrative Officer): A Test / Interview or both will be conducted.
   • For post at Sl. No. 7 (Scientific Assistant – IV): A Written Test and a Skill Test/Trade Test will be conducted.

4. Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per C-MET norms.
