Educational Qualification
- Senior Residents (Regular): Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in concerned speciality from a recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India. If PG/Diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors with two years of experience (including 1 year in the concerned speciality) from government/private hospitals (not private clinics) may be appointed for 1 year on contract basis.
- Full-Time Contractual Specialist: MBBS with Post Graduate degree/diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized University with 3 years’ experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Degree or 5 Years’ experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Diploma and registered with DMC/MCI.
- Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist (Entry Level): MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in concerned Super Speciality from MCI recognized Medical College, with 3 years of experience. For DM/MCH qualifications of five years duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said DM/MCH shall be counted towards requirements of 3 years’ experience.
- Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist (Senior Level): MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in concerned Super Speciality from MCI recognized Medical College, with 5 years of experience. For DM/MCH qualifications of five years duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said DM/MCH shall be counted towards requirements of 5 years’ experience.

Important Instructions & Terms
- Candidates who have already worked as a Senior Resident under Central Residency Scheme for 3 years are not eligible.
- Candidates working in any Govt. Institution should apply through proper channel.
- The total period of Residency should not exceed the maximum period of 03 Years.
- Vacancy position may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Medical Superintendent.
- Private practice of any kind will not be allowed (not applicable for Part-Time Super Specialists).

- At the time of joining, selected Specialists must have a professional Indemnity Bond of at least Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rupees twenty lakhs only) which should cover the period as desired by ESIC in the “Agreement”.
