Job Profile & Career Scope

Apprenticeship training at UCIL provides an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience in a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) environment. While the Apprentices Act, 1961, does not obligate UCIL to provide employment upon completion of training, the experience gained is highly beneficial for future career prospects in the mining, mechanical, electrical, civil, and administrative sectors. Apprentices will learn the intricacies of their chosen trade/discipline, work under experienced professionals, and understand industrial operations, which is a significant boost for their resumes.

Typically, apprentices gain hands-on skills, improve their technical knowledge, and develop professional work ethics. This training can open doors to various private and public sector companies looking for skilled individuals with practical exposure. The stipend provided helps cover living expenses during the training period.

Preparation Tips

For Application & Document Preparation
