While the detailed exam pattern is yet to be released, it’s crucial to prepare for common competitive exam subjects:

  • General Knowledge/Current Affairs: Focus on Manipur-specific GK, Indian history, geography, polity, economy, science, and recent events.
  • General English: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence structure.
  • Reasoning Ability: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, analytical skills.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Basic arithmetic, data interpretation, algebra, geometry (especially for graduate-level posts).

2. Focus on Physical Fitness (for Uniformed Posts)

Start preparing for physical standards and efficiency tests well in advance. Regular running, push-ups, sit-ups, and other exercises are essential to meet the height, chest, and endurance requirements.

3. Language Proficiency

Since knowledge of Manipuri or notified Schedule Tribe dialects is mandatory, ensure you are proficient. Knowledge of Hindi is desirable for some posts, which can be an added advantage.

4. Consistent Study & Mock Tests

Devote dedicated hours daily to study. Solve previous year’s question papers (if available for similar exams) and take mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. Identify weak areas and work on them.
