Preparation Tips

To succeed in the Indian Army recruitment for Soldier NA and Sepoy Pharma, a strategic approach is essential:

For Phase-I (Online CEE)

  • Understand the Syllabus: Focus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany/Zoology), and English as per the 10+2 curriculum.
  • Practice Online Tests: Utilize the practice links available on the Join Indian Army website to familiarize yourself with the Computer Based Test (CBT) environment and question patterns.
  • Time Management: Practice solving questions within the stipulated time. The CEE is an MCQ-based test, so speed and accuracy are crucial.
  • Revision: Regularly revise all subjects, especially your strong and weak areas.
  • Recommended Books: For 10+2 level Science subjects, refer to NCERT textbooks. For General English, ‘Objective General English’ by S.P. Bakshi or ‘High School English Grammar and Composition’ by Wren and Martin can be helpful.

For Phase-II (Recruitment Rally)

  • Physical Fitness: Start rigorous physical training well in advance. Focus on running (1.6 km), pull-ups, ditch jumps, and zig-zag balance. Consistency is key.
  • Medical Preparation: It is advisable to undergo a preliminary medical check-up before the rally to identify and address any potential issues like flat feet, poor vision, or ear wax, as these can lead to disqualification.
  • Document Readiness: Prepare all required original documents and two attested photocopies. Ensure all certificates are valid, free from errors, and match your online application details. Pay special attention to photographs (recent, white background, clean shave/haircut as specified).
  • Stay Updated: Regularly check the official website for any updates regarding rally dates, venues, and specific instructions.
