Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • PGT (English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Commerce, Economics):
    Integrated Post Graduate Course (NCTE recognized) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject including B.Ed. OR Master Degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks AND B.Ed. Degree (NCTE recognized) with minimum 50% marks. OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (NCTE recognized) with minimum 50% marks. OR Four years Integrated Degree (NCTE recognized) with minimum 50% marks including B.Ed. component.
    Note for PGT (Commerce): Holders of M. Com. Degree in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible.
    Proficiency to Teach in Hindi and English medium is mandatory.
  • PGT (Computer Science):
    M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)/MCA with at least 50% marks. OR M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) with at least 50% marks. Additionally, B.Ed. Degree (NCTE recognized) with minimum 50% marks is required.
  • TGT (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit):
    Four years integrated degree course (NCTE recognized) with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) as well as in aggregate including B.Ed. component. OR Bachelor/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject and combination of subjects as well as in aggregate AND B.Ed. Degree (NCTE recognized) with at least 50% marks. OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (NCTE recognized) with at least 50% marks. OR Post-Graduation in concerned subject/specialization with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, provided the candidate has studied the subject(s) at graduation level and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (NCTE recognized) with at least 50% marks.
    Qualified in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
    Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.
    Note: The concerned subject must have been studied as an Elective/Main Subject for at least 3 years/6 semesters of the course.
    Specific for TGT (Maths): Mathematics as Elective/Main subject for 3 years/6 semesters, Physics for at least 1 year/2 semesters, and one out of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics for at least 1 year/2 semesters. Candidates with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible.
    Specific for TGT (Science): Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as Hons/Main Subject for at least 3 years/6 semesters with specific combinations.
    Specific for TGT (Social Studies): Any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science during graduation, with one being History or Geography for at least 3 years/6 semesters.
  • TGT (Special Educator):
    Graduation Degree with minimum 50% Marks AND any recognized B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with Diploma/PG Diploma in Special Education. Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with valid CRR number. Qualified in CTET (Elementary Stage) Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
  • PRT (Primary Teacher):
    Senior Secondary/10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary/10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).
    Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium. Desirable: Knowledge of working on Computer. Qualified in CTET Paper-I conducted by CBSE.
  • Primary Teacher (Special Educator):
    Class XII pass with minimum 50% marks AND any recognized D.Ed. Special Education, Diploma in Special Education (DSE), Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR), PGDCBR, MRW, Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf, Primary level Teacher Training in Visual Impairment, DVR-MR/DVTE-MR, DHLS, or any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one year duration with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. Registration with RCI with valid CRR number. Qualified in CTET (Primary Stage) Paper-I conducted by CBSE.
  • Computer Instructor:
    BE/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/BCA/MCA/PGDCA/ ‘C’/’B’/’A’/’O’ Level from a recognized University or Reputed Institution. Experienced Preferable.
  • Sport Coach:
    Degree/Diploma from a recognized University or State/National level games & sports player.
  • Yoga Instructor:
    Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized university and 01 year training in Yoga from recognized Institution.
  • Dance Coach:
    Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Dance or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • PRT Music:
    Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Counsellor:
    BA/B.Sc. (Psychology) with certificate of diploma in counseling.
  • Data Entry Operator:
    Class XII pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. Desirable: working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

Selection Process
