Eligibility & Participation

Abstract Submission Guidelines

If you wish to present a poster at the seminar, please adhere to the following guidelines for abstract submission:

  • Font & Size: Arial font size 11, with bold title and headings.
  • Theme: Mention the relevant theme at the top of the page.
  • Word Limits:
    • Title: 10-15 words
    • Keywords: 4-5 words (alphabetical)
    • Introduction: Up to 100 words
    • Material and Methods: 100-150 words
    • Results and Conclusion: Up to 250 words (with only 1 table/figure allowed)
    • References: 2 references maximum, APA format.
  • Submission: Submit your abstract via email to register.ss26@gmail.com by the extended deadline of February 20, 2026.

Poster Presentation

Only authors of selected abstracts will be invited for poster presentations during the conference. A ‘Best Poster Award’ will be conferred to outstanding contributions, recognizing excellence in research and presentation.

Accommodation & Travel

Limited accommodation is available in the University guest house on a first-come, first-serve basis. Paid accommodation can also be arranged in hotels in Solan city, ranging from ₹1500 to ₹7500 (twin sharing). Dormitory accommodation will be provided for students upon request. Hotel and stay details will be shared with the acceptance letter.

How to Reach YSPUHF, Nauni Solan

The university is well-connected by road and railway networks. It is approximately 15 kms from Solan city. Regular bus services are available from Delhi to Solan. The nearest railway stations are Chandigarh and Kalka, with several trains including Shatabdi/Vande Bharat Express. Chandigarh airport is about 70 km away.
