UPSC has uploaded the e-Admit Cards for the Combined Recruitment Test. Candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards from the official websites.

How to Download Admit Card

  1. Visit the official UPSC websites: www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in.
  2. Look for the ‘e-Admit Card’ or ‘What’s New’ section.
  3. Click on the link for ‘e-Admit Card for Combined Recruitment Test’.
  4. Enter your registration number, roll number, or other required login credentials (e.g., Date of Birth).
  5. Download and take a clear printout of your e-Admit Card.

What to Verify on Admit Card

Immediately after downloading, candidates must carefully check all details on their e-Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, contact the UPSC Facilitation Counter at the earliest (Telephone No. 011-23381125, 23385271, 23098543 between 10:00 A.M to 05:00 P.M on all working days). Special attention should be paid to the subject of the Test. Efforts will be made to upload revised e-Admit Card(s) in case of valid discrepancies.

Documents Required on Exam Day

Candidates must carry the following mandatory documents to the test centre:

  • Hard Copy (Printout) of e-Admit Card: This is essential for securing admission. No paper admit card will be issued by the Commission.
  • Original Photo Identity Proof: Such as Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, or Voter ID.
  • Two Passport Size Photographs: Only if your e-Admit Card does not have a clear photograph. An undertaking along with the photographs will also be required.
  • Black Ball Point Pen: For marking responses on the OMR sheet.

Exam Day Instructions & Important Notes

Candidates must strictly adhere to the following instructions:

  • Reporting and Entry: Report at the test center 1 hour before the test commencement. Entry into the test venue will close 10 minutes before the test starts (09:20 A.M).
  • Frisking: Reach the venue well in advance to undergo frisking. You will be allowed to enter the TEST Hall 60 minutes/1 hour before the prescribed time.
  • Seating Plan: Seating plans will be displayed at the venue. Check your exact seat location before proceeding to the test hall.
  • OMR Sheet Handling: Write/encode the serial number of the OMR Sheet, Test Booklet serial number, and series in the Attendance List. Mark answers only with a Black Ball Point Pen by blackening the appropriate circle. Do not fold, mutilate, tear, tamper with, or make any extraneous markings on the OMR sheet. Do not take the OMR sheet out of the hall.
  • Test Booklet: Immediately after the test commences, check your Test Booklet for any unprinted, torn, or missing pages. Report any issues to the Invigilator for replacement. Encode the Test Booklet Series (A, B, C, D) clearly on the OMR Sheet.
  • Attendance List: Fill and sign the Attendance List as per instructions provided by the Invigilator.
  • Provisional Admission: Admission to the test is strictly provisional. Eligibility conditions (age, educational qualifications, community, etc.) will be verified with original documents only for candidates who qualify in the Recruitment Test.
  • No Unauthorized Assistance: Do not copy from other candidates or permit others to copy from your papers. Do not obtain any unauthorized assistance.
  • Leaving the Hall: No candidate is permitted to leave the TEST Hall until the allotted time expires. During the last 30 minutes, candidates are not allowed to go to the toilet.
  • Post-Test Conduct: After completion, remain seated until the OMR Sheet is collected and the Invigilator permits you to leave. Do not engage in conversation or crowd near/loiter around the hall.
  • Personal Items: Do not bring any valuables/costly items to the TEST Halls. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss.
  • Prohibited Items: Electronic calculators, log tables, slide rules, cellular/mobile phones, IT gadgets, pagers, or any other electronic equipment/communication device are strictly banned inside the test venue.
  • COVID-19 Norms: Follow COVID-19 norms of ‘Social Distancing’ and ‘Personal Hygiene’. Wearing a mask is optional.
  • Hand Sanitizer: A small, transparent bottle of hand sanitizer is permitted.

Important Notes for PwBD Candidates

  • Compensatory Time: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in categories of Blindness, Locomotor Disability (both arms affected-BA), and Cerebral Palsy are eligible for compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour (i.e., 40 minutes for a 2-hour test).
  • Scribe Facility: Eligible PwBD candidates can avail the facility of a scribe. Candidates can opt for their own scribe or request the Commission for one. Specific certificates are required for availing scribe and/or compensatory time.

Selection Process & Weightage

The selection process for these posts involves a Combined Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an Interview. The weightage for the Combined RTs and the Interview will be 75:25 for those candidates who are shortlisted through the RTs and qualify in the interview.
