JKSSB Naib Tehsildar Recruitment 2025 Apply Online

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the official notification (Advt No. 05 of 2025) for the recruitment of Naib Tehsildars in the Revenue Department. A total of 75 UT cadre vacancies are announced for direct recruitment. Interested candidates can apply online through the JKSSB portal from 16 June to 15 July 2025.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline with knowledge of Urdu.

Domicile

• Applicants must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

Naib Tehsildar Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

• Hold a recognized graduation degree
• Be a domicile of J&K
• Fall within the prescribed age limit
• Have working knowledge of Urdu

Application Fee

JKSSB Naib Tehsildar Syllabus 2025

Paper-I: General Exam (120 Marks, 2 Hours)

• Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
• Cut-off (Paper-I): OM: 20%, Reserved: 15%

Paper-II: Urdu (50 Marks, 1 Hour)

• Reading: 20 Marks (MCQs based on passages)
• Writing: 30 Marks
  • Letter writing (10 marks)
  • Translation (10 marks)
  • Essay (10 marks)
• Qualifying Marks:
  • OM: 40% overall, min 33% in each section
  • Reserved: 35% overall, min 33% in each section

Selection Process

1. Paper-I: Written Test (Objective MCQ) – 120 Marks
2. Paper-II: Urdu Language Test – 50 Marks (Qualifying Only)
3. Document Verification

Note: No interview as per S.O. 36 of 2025 dated 14 Feb 2025.

PwBD & Scribe Guidelines

• Must upload: PwD certificate (Annexure-B), Scribe Undertaking (Annexure-C), Photo ID of scribe
• Scribe cannot be:
• A candidate
  • A student from the same exam center
  • More qualified than the candidate
• Candidates using scribe must report 1 hour before exam

Document Verification

Required documents (original & photocopy):

• Domicile Certificate
• 10th Certificate (DOB proof)
• Graduation Certificate
• Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Scribe certificate (if applicable)
• Bonafide Certificate (for candidates with degrees outside J&K)
• Ex-Servicemen Certificate (Form-XIV)
• 2 Passport-size color photos
• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, DL, etc.)

Misconduct & Legal Liability

Any candidate found indulging in:

• Impersonation
• Forgery
• Fake reservation claim
• Multiple applications for same post

Will be debarred, disqualified, and liable for criminal prosecution.

3. Register and fill in personal, academic, and category details
4. Upload required documents
5. Pay application fee
6. Submit and download application copy

Note: Only one application per candidate per item number allowed.

• Before submitting the application, candidates are strongly advised to double-check all entered details, including name, date of birth, category, and uploaded documents. Any incorrect information may lead to rejection of the application.
• Admit cards will be available online one week before the exam.
• No hard copies to be sent to JKSSB.
