Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess an updated Medical Registration (NMC/ State Medical Council) with all post MBBS/ MD/ MS Qualification(s)) in accordance with the latest guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI).
  • If candidates do not have updated registration, they must show and submit a copy of “Applied for document(s)” to the concerned authority at the time of the interview. Selected candidates must submit an updated Medical Registration Certificate before joining.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: Not exceeding 69 Years as on the date of Walk-in Interview (11.03.2026).
  • Tenure: The maximum tenure of engagement will be up to 70 years of age for teaching faculty or till the expiry of the tenure, whichever is earlier.

Terms of Contract

  • The contract tenure will initially be for 01 (One) year, extendable yearly up to 3 years based on approval, satisfactory performance, willingness, and institutional requirements.
  • The contract may be terminated if a regular faculty is appointed to the same post or if the incumbent attains 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
  • ESIC reserves the right to terminate services without prior notice in public interest.
  • Teaching faculty must give one-month advance notice or deposit one month’s salary to resign.
  • No service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, etc., are applicable for contractual faculty.
  • Hostel accommodation/quarters may be provided if available, but cannot be claimed as a right. HRA will not be payable if accommodation is availed.
  • Absence from work exceeding 7 days without prior approval will be considered voluntary abandonment.
  • Attendance must be recorded manually and through AEBAS daily.
